Well, everyone. Let's try to think about the Articulator mount of the complete denture.

As requested by the authority law, take a preliminary impression, make a model for the diagnosis, make an individual tray, do a border molding, take precise impression, do a boxing, and make a working model.

1. Bite taking

When fundamentally we reconstruct the occlusal plane of the patient that the one related to the occlusion is lost, it is a principle to do based on the Camper's line.

Therefore, we set it up so that the occlusal plane (It is a reference plane in this case.) of the upper jaw may become parallel in the patient's Camper's line.

If the occlusal plane of the upper jaw is decided, we go into the bite taking.

As for the point,

While a dentist sets up the upper jaw occlusal plane,put a lower jaw occusal rim in the hot water, and it becomes soft equally.(How to become soft equally completely won't be except for this. But, it is careful not to become soft too much.)

A point of No.1 to do a bite taking by the occusal rim is to soften wax equally. It is best to become soft with the hot water in it. Still, the bite taking which it is satisfied with by the occusal rim is very difficult work. Therefore, a bite taking here sets up only a vertical demension tentatively like a temporary vertical. Then, when it thought to decide it by the gothic arch tracing method, a mind is easy for us as for the final bite taking.

2. Mount of Articulator

b) Whether the Articulator which did based on the Frankfort horizontal plane.

Originally, a Frankfort horizontal plane has been used as a reference plane when a mandibular position and a mandibular movement are measured and when an Articulator mount does the upper jaw model.

But, the lost one related to the occlusion, when it is recovered, it is based on the Camper's line, recently, many Articulators of the Camper's line standard have been developed.

If a dentist can reproduce a Camper's line recorded from the patient as it is in the Articulator, it becomes the standard of the occlusal plane as it is.

Therefore, when a face bow isn't used, the one which mounted in the Articulator of the Camper's line standard is easy and easy to recognize.
